I had a problem (discovered on line) with my Honda shoulder strap on the seat belt made my stomach larger. After consulting with several other owners we found that putting aside one of my "Big Macs" and ditching the fries BEFORE fastening the seat belt would, after time, alleviate most of the problem.
This problem, although more serious in the long run, did not cause me to sell my car and since Canon is actively making repairs to the white grip it will not cause me to abandon my camera for one of the "off" brands mentioned.
