Have a problem with Lightroom 3

In the last couple of days I have been unable to select pictures using the keywords any further down the list than those beginning with Str...

Any keywords up to this point have a box to the left of them which highlights as you scroll through and an arrow to the right which you click on to show the photos.After this point there are no boxes or arrows....something has changed but I (and Mark) have no idea what.

I can still access the shots by using the search field at the top of the page or by date order but not the easiest way.

Does anyone have any ideas please?

I use LR3, and started making keyword lists when I first got the program, but haven't used it hardly at all since then. I arrange the few photos I have in LR into Collections (left side menu). I also looked in the LR3 book (Scott Kelby edition) and didn't find any tips on how to recover/fix keyword problems. Sorry I couldn't be any help. I believe JimL uses LR, and he might have more info than I can provide. Hope you get it fixed soon.
