    Default Female Cardinal

I think my Cardinals that have been molting are getting their feathers back. She's almost beautiful again.

I would say adult female. Notice how bright red the bill is. Most of the adult male and female are molting right now. Young adults from this year are in full color with no molting.

I would have to agree with that as this would have to be a second year bird. A good tip is the bill color. Thanks!
