    Default Newbie Birder Pics

It's amazing what you can find in your own back yard, if you only look. Two weeks ago I hung two bird feeders and two hummingbird feeders, and now we're getting some action.

Great captures. Keep the feeders full and you'll continue to get lots of activity.

Thanks Linda and Michelle. All I need to do now is figure out how to keep the squirrels and Blue Jays away from the feeders.

Thanks Eddie. I've got an old BB gun I can use for target practice on the squirrels - they're such a nuisance. (Just kidding folks, I'll only shoot with a camera).

What a coincidence, as I'm sitting here replying to this post, the woodpecker is doing a number on my neighbors house. They can be a bother too - but they sure are "pretty".
