    Welcome!

Are you just saying hi, or are you looking for some critique or opinion on the photo as well?

welcome to the Zo, Very nice first post with just a couple of small things to point out. In my opinion you have left too much space behind the bird, he has a really great pose which makes me want to look to the left to see what he is looking at. I also find the image a tad dark if it was shot in raw you could brighten the whites a bit more, overall a nice pic thanks for sharing

Hi Welcome to the Zo. It's a great place and there is a lot to learn.

Love the pose of the egret. You caught him well. It is a little dark. In most any editing program will brightened. Picasa2 will even make a difference. It's free. I did this in PS, but nothing that the others can't do. There are a lot of people who can do this better than I.

    Thanks for sharing.
