Autumn in the Swamp

We don't get a lot of beautiful autumn color here, but the swamp really does change, all the swamp sunflowers burst into bloom and make the swamp look so bright and sunny. These were taken at Magnolia Gardens.

These are really cool. So many different textures in the first one. And I love the shapes of the large green leaves hovering over the yellow flowers below in the third.

You have colors! Just different ones.

Yes, we have color, but different color

And in a little while I will be loving all your snow shots. We don't have snow!

I'm a FLorida baby. I hate snow unless I'm sitting inside sipping hot cocoa by the fire.

I thought you were in Mass???

I love snow, but haven't seen any in almost 20 years. Makes me nostalgic to look at photos of the snow.

[Delvcaem]

I was born in FL and lived there through my early child hood - it's still "home" even though I've been here for nearly 30 years. I've never gotten used to the snow.

Really like all the interesting things in the first one. The red flowers, bridge......... Very pleasing place to be.
