Thanks for posting that link, Andrew. Burt Monroy is absolutely brilliant! He's an SF Bay guy, so I get to see him every once in a while (every time I can!). He's "Illustrator-oriented," but an absolute Photoshop master. Even if you're not drawing mind-boggling panoramas (or not drawing at all), you'll find many of his techniques will improve your Photoshop work.
I agree. I never really had a good understanding of alpha channels and their usage until I viewed some of his tutorials.
I just like the way he teaches. He doesn't presume you know everything. I like how he takes real world situations and applies his knowledge to them, and not just throw some "classroom" jargon at you. He fits my learning style perfectly.
