Good light on the turkey vultures. Mine are always too high or too dark.
The light in the geese is very nice and makes a very nice picture.

The vulture is very good and the sky really makes the bird stand out. I really need to improve my camera tracking skills.
In the third one the color range is very good with the foreground leaf and reflections making it more than a couple of notches above the usual photo of this type.

Thanks, I've also had problems of them turning out too dark in the past, But the location I took that shot was called Chimney Top Rock. They were circling around that rock and flying so close I could here a rush of air as they flew by. It was very cool, probably my favorite experience there.
The 3rd one is my favorite. I had several 11x14 prints of this one made on Metallic paper from Mpix. I kept one and sold the rest. They really stand out on the metallic paper. I also brightened the eyes in the version I used for printing so the eyes are more visible. But as I've mentioned I lost all those photos when the hard drive failed, So these are again taken from my myspace page.
