That is a lot of cooling towers for a coal fired plant. There are two coal fired plants within 10 miles of my house that supply a great portion of the electricity for Louisvlle and surrounding areas and they don't have that many towers between them.
I like the dodge and burn in the cloud plume.

This is a very nice shot, Martin. Great image and conversion. At that distance, I'm amazed at the detail you have. I see you shot it at 390mm focal length. Did you also crop it some?

The trick to good photography is to learn where to point your camera and when to push the shutter. The EYE is more important than all the technical stuff.
390 on a 1.3 crop factor would make it just over 500mm, although the distance was a guess, so I could be way out, long shot thoughOriginally Posted by Landis

If you Google Drax and look at images you can see an Ariel pic of it and there are that many towers, prob not as efficient as the US versionsOriginally Posted by JimL
